Salman Khan is hungry

Salman seems to be taking more than a personal interest in Veer and is keen that this period movie be his next release. This is because Salman feels that Veer will break his streak of flops and give his career a fillip that it badly needs.

The Jaipur schedule of Veer could not be completed because of the collapse of portions of the Amer Fort where the shooting was taking place. Hence, Veer is a long way from being complete. But that has hardly deterred Salman who is now playing the catch me if you can game with Boney.

First he made him run around for dates for shooting and now he is making him run around for dubbing dates. As for Boney, despite having spent tons of money on giving the film a classy look, on par with any international film, has no other option but to wait and hope that Salman cooperates in getting Wanted Dead And Alive released.

Leila Martine at Microsoft said the company was confident that surfers who may have turned their back on IE in favour of other browsers such as Firefox would be impressed with IE8’s features, reliability and security.

New features include InPrivate Browsing, which lets you browse the web without IE8 keeping a history of sites visted and WebSlices, a tool that keeps you updated about a particular item on a web page.

Microsoft said its speed tests, comparing IE8 with Chrome and Firefox 3 on 25 of the most commonly visited websites, showed IE8 to be the fastest.

Karan Johar has fallen out with old pal,

Karan Johar has fallen out with old pal, Aditya Chopra? Or is it just a business related new arrangement?

The director who always sold his films to the Yash Raj banner for distribution has decided to go outside and look for another distributor outside. Reports say that Karan’s next two films, ‘Wake Up Sid’ with Ranbir Kapoor and Konkona Sen Sharma and Rensil D’Silva’s untitled next will be distributed by UTV at a cost of Rs 80 crore.

The rumours of the Karan thinking of doing business minus the Chopras have been doing the rounds for quite a while now.

Now it has been confirmed with UTV being the sole distributors of Dharma Productions’ next two films.
