Imran Recommended Shruti for LUCK

Shruti Haasan’s debut in LUCK is certainly an eagerly awaited one. The young rock star and daughter of the veteran Kamal Haasan is looking stunning and remarkably confident in the promos while her ‘Aazma Luck’ number is steadily on its ascent.

In fact, Shruti landed herself this multi-starrer thanks to a suggestion by Imran Khan to director Soham Shah.

Confirms Imran, ”Shruti and I have known each other since we were 10 or 12. We’re friends and get along very well. Soham was keen to cast a new girl and after he gave me a description of what he was looking for, I suggested Shruti. She had the attitude, style and body language that was needed of the character. She was game and flew down from Chennai for an audition. Soham loved her screen test and confirmed her.”

Imran isn’t sparing in his praise for his good friend. ”While my favourite song in LUCK is ‘Khuda Ya Veh’, Shruti’s rendition of ‘Aazma Luck’ is fantastic! Its proper rock!”

He might be the darling of the paparazzi at the moment, but it seems Imran Khan, whose film LUCK is all set to release this week has a different agenda on mind.

It’s learnt that Imran is all set to plan the birthday of his steady girlfriend Avantika Malik. Buzz is that the young Khan has taken time off to head to a secret destination to be with his lady love on this special occasion.

Though there have been rumours about Imran and his co-star Shruti Haasan sharing a romantic fling in real life too, Imran’s new gesture has put all such speculations to rest for the moment.

With his film LUCK coming close to the release date, Imran seems to be making the most of his lady luck in the meantime.

Three boxes of clothes designed for Angelina have been stolen

Three boxes of clothes designed for Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie, for the promotion of her new movie ‘Salt’, have been stolen.

According to an insider, Jolie’s stylist Jennifer Rade was collecting dresses for her star client, who was scheduled to have a fitting with Rade the next day.

“Every designer who was sending pieces was trying to send their best stuff”.

“Angelina was just starting the fitting process for pieces to wear when she begins promoting ”Salt”.

However, Rade didn”t return calls and Jolie’s representatives were also unavailable for comment.
