Chris Brown”s mum “loves Rihanna like a daughter”

Chris Brown”s mother Joyce Hawkins misses his ex-girlfriend Rihanna and wishes to see her.

Hawkins hasn”t seen Rihanna after her son assaulted the Umbrella singer in February this year.

“I love Rihanna. She”s like a daughter. She became family to us. She”s spent Christmas with us for the last two years. I miss her a lot.”

Chris attacked Rihanna in his car as they left a pre-Grammy Awards party.

He later pleaded guilty to assault and was sentenced to six months of community service, 12 months of domestic violence counselling and five years probation.
