Kate Winslet extra cautious after Oscar win

Kate Winslet has become extra cautious ever since she has won an Oscar, as she feels the award has brought with itself the pressure to “look composed” as she climbs the ranks in Hollywood.

The British actress had won the Best Actress Academy Award for her performance in `The Reader’ in 2009, after almost 12 years since she was first nominated for the coveted gong.

Kate got an Oscar nomination for `Sense and Sensibility’ in 1996 and `Titanic’ in 1998.

And the 33-year-old actress has admitted that she feels she”s now forced to live up to an impossible standard, and can”t be true to her free spirit.

“It”s very hard to feel like yourself because you”re not; you”re on show.”

She added: “In the old days I”d just wing it, but now you need to give people what they want, which is someone looking composed, fresh and put together. Our knickers will still go up our a at the most inappropriate moment. And we”ll still want to flick them out, but you can”t, because someone is going to catch you.

Here’s how Oprah, Miley, Britney, Paris, Macca, ‘died’ in hoax reports

A channel has put together some of the hoax news stories alleging untimely demise of celebrities, both big and small.

The same day that Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett passed away—June 25—online rumours falsely claimed that Jeff Goldblum had died during an on-set accident in New Zealand.

The same story had been spread about Tom Hanks in 2006 and Tom Cruise in 2008.

Online rumours that started circulating on June 25 also suggested that Harrison Ford was lost at sea when his yacht capsized.

Britney Spears was also targeted when some hackers got into her Twitter account, posting a message, reading: “Britney has passed today. It is a sad day for everyone. More news to come.”

Britney of course is alive and touring, and so are Ellen DeGeneres and P Diddy whose accounts were also broken into.

Chat show queen Oprah Winfrey was also untruly reported to have been discovered sprawled across her bed, dead in her Chicago apartment this year.

Miley Cyrus was said to have died in a hit-and- run accident on her way to the “Hannah Montana” set in September last year in false reports.

Paris Hilton was reported to have been dead after trouble makers created a phoney news story that looked like an official CNN.com page, misleadingly alleging that the heiress had been stabbed multiple times by an angry fellow inmate.

Sir Paul McCartney was reported to have borne the worst celebrity death hoax after the former Beatle was said to have died in a car accident in 1966 and was replaced by a look-alike in another false story.
